2012 Saab 93, the top scorer in terms of 'Top Safety pick' award has been rated as one of the best handling front-wheel drive cars in the series. The next generation Saab 93 2012 will soon be available in the market but already has loads of praises in its booty.

The first Saab 93 was launched in 1999 and since then, many updated versions have got unleashed because of its competitive price and reliability. The 2012 Saab 93 will be unveiled in the fall of 2012 and will definitely be the biggest hit till now.

The new Saab 93 range drivers will be treated with a saloon, a sports wagon and even a Saab 93 convertible. A speculation reveals that it may even sell a coupe within the Saab 93 range although it has not been confirmed yet. Many upgrades have been made in the new version. The new Saab-93 will feature two petrol turbo engines which will range from 163 hp to 220 hp with included direct injection. The new Saab 93 will also feature variable valve timing along with twin scroll turbo changing. Engines are featured with either a manual of automatic six speed transmission.

Slightly revised interior with "additional styling" will be featured in the interior looks of new 2012 Saab 93.

The car is extremely eco-friendly as it has been designed to reduce the CO2 emission, hence lowering the carbon footprint. The manual 220 hp 2.0 litre petrol is one of the most powerful engines in its weight class producing only 160 g/km. The option of the 1.9 litre manual twin turbo diesel offers lesser CO2 emission at only 119 g/km. Available in the 1.9 Diesel versions of both the saloon and sport wagon right up to 209 g/km in the 220 hp petrol engine sports wagon, Saab's 93's 2 litre engines can run at approximately 20 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway.

Two different equipment grades referred to as SE and Aero will be available in the 2012 Saab 93. Standard features such as leather trimmed interiors, heated front seats, alloy wheels, parking assist, auto-dim mirrors and Bluetooth integration are some standard features available across the entire range. Host of safety systems will also be available such as electronic stability program, Saab active head restraints and six airbags.

Although no fixed prices have been announced for 2012 Saab 93 series in US, depending on the model, the car will be priced at $28,900 to $45,080. The UK series would however have sold pricing, which may end up being somewhat comparable in the United States too. The prices will range from ?21,495 up to ?33,550. The price would definitely depend on model, engine, horsepower and any extra added features which the buyer would prefer in their version.

Once launched, the new Saab 93 will definitely be people's preferred choice as it will offer excellent service with class. The elegantly designed model will cater to everyone's taste and be the topmost choice of all car-lovers. A saloon as well as a sports wagon, Saab 93 2012 will ensure safety, be easy on the pockets due to its cost-effectiveness, and excellent speed on the road, this car is definitely going to reign!
